So good to know Spring is here and the trees and flowers are finally blooming!

A few members were able to attend the Region 4 Spring Forum held in Saratoga Springs, NY on Friday, April 13.  We discussed IRWA business and took advantage of the chance to network with colleagues and connect with friends.  The Fall Forum will be held on Friday, October 19 in MD – watch the upcoming Region 4 Newsletter and the Chapter 16 web site for more details.

And speaking of the Chapter 16 web site, have you recently visited it?  The web address is www.nechapter16.com.  Sue Tauber, our webmaster, has done a wonderful job keeping it up to date and looking neat.  There is a lot of information there for your review including a calendar of events, meeting minutes, scholarship recipients, by-laws, and much more.  In addition to the Chapter 16 web site, there is plenty more information on the IRWA web site at www.irwaonline.org.

The International Annual Education Conference will be held on June 10-13 in Seattle, WA and a few members are planning to attend.  It’s four days packed with IRWA committee meetings, educational sessions from industry and IRWA leaders, a trade show with vendors from all over the US and Canada, and plenty of networking opportunities.  More details can be found on the IRWA web site at www.irwaonline.org.

We are very happy to be partnering with NH DOT for Course 100 on July 17-20 at their office in Concord, NH.  Registration information for this and many other in-class and online courses are available on the IRWA web site at www.irwaonline.org.

Mark your calendars for the 1^st Annual IRWA Chapter 16 Mini Golf Tournament!  It will be held on Friday, July 13 at Kimball Farm in Westford, MA.  Start now in getting your teams of four ready to play some great mini golf!  Watch your e-mail and the Chapter 16 web site for more details and registration information.

Our next e-board meeting is our annual planning meeting where we set the schedule for 2012-2013 and discuss our education and meeting programs.  It will be held on May 11 at my office at 547 Lincoln St in Richmond, ME.  Please let me know by May 10 if you would like to attend.
